fairwarning-twitter_icon_400x400A Message from Myron Levin and FairWarning

Dear Friends,

Halloween is almost here–and what could be spookier than a world without tough watchdog journalism?

That’s why FairWarning needs your help with a tremendous opportunity.

We are excited to be part of News Match 2017, which will match individual donations to FairWarning from now through December 31. This important initiative to strengthen nonprofit newsrooms is funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Democracy Fund. In addition, the Jonathan Logan Family Foundation has pledged $25,000 to FairWarning if we can match it with gifts from first-time donors or those who haven’t contributed in at least two years.

Sounds a bit complicated, but it means that if you are one of our terrific regular donors you can double your impact by giving now. And if you haven’t been a donor, your gift will be matched twice–tripling your impact!

This is a great opportunity to help us produce more of the strong accountability journalism you have come to expect from FairWarning. We would be deeply grateful for your help in unlocking these vital funds.

Your gift in any amount will advance our mission of delivering tough watchdog reporting in the public interest.

You can contribute today by going online (click on this link), or by mailing your check to FairWarning at 55 South Grand Ave., Pasadena, CA 91105.

Thanks for reading, and for considering a donation to FairWarning.

All best wishes,

Myron Levin
