Owners of 2007 Chevy Tahoes and GMC Yukons need to watch their fingers. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating 88 complaints that door handles on the two models are causing hand injuries because the metal plating on the interior door is peeling.
No recall has been announced, but General Motors spokesman Alan Adler told Automobile Magazine that the company is working with NHTSA to devise a remedy.
The agency estimates about 430,000 vehicles could be affected.
