Consumer Reports has removed the “do not buy” designation from Toyota’s 2010 Lexus GX 460 sport utility vehicle. The consumer watchdog magazine test-drove the SUV last month and found that its rear wheels slid out when making sharp turns, increasing the risk of a rollover.
Toyota stopped sales of the vehicle and quickly came up with new software to fix the problem, MarketWatch reports. Consumer Reports test-drove the Lexus again and announced Friday that the problem had been fixed.
