US Airways Crews Still Sick From Exposure to Toxic Fumes in Plane

Nine crew members and passengers were taken to a Charlotte hospital on Tuesday after getting sick on a US Airways flight. Mechanics said a bad door seal allowed exhaust into the cabin.

This is the fourth incident of toxic fumes exposure on the same US Airways plane. According to union representatives, eight US Airways crew members who got sick on flights in December and January have not been able to return to work. Crew and passengers became sick after US Airways flights on Dec. 28 and 30, and Jan. 16.
