EPA Adds 10 Hazardous Waste Sites to Superfund Priorities List

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency added 10 new hazardous waste sites to its Superfund’s National Priorities List. The sites pose risks to human health and the environment, and will be investigated for clean up, the EPA announced.

There are now 1,279 sites on the Superfund priorities list. Among the most recent additions are a golf course in Michigan and a former mercury mine in Oregon. Click here for the EPA’s announcement and a list of the 10 sites.
